Busy morning so far, made some granola and some coleslaw (from our own cabbage, the last one).
Last night I put together a crock of dill pickles (recipe from "Wild Fermentation" {tweeked}). Used all ingredients from the garden, garlic, dill and cucs!! I get so excited doing all this fermenting stuff it's kooky...ha.
Made up 9 1/2 quarts of tomatoes Tuesday. So pretty!
Still working on socks.

I didn't get to can any tomato's this year. Just peach jam. Yours look awesome and I will miss them this winter!
Nice cabbage head :-) You did have a lot of tomatoes.
Marsha...sure would love to have a jar of that peach jam!
Brad...the remainder of the cabbages have melted due to hot temps...but the odd thing is that from the stalks of a couple of them are growing new heads!! So I'm letting them grow...hopefully they will mature into full grown ones come fall!!
Cabbage is fall plant too, so regrowth should work out, if they mature before the frosts come. Plenty of time, right? :-)
OH sorry this is so late...didn't see your comment : ( But it shouldn't be too late even now for cabbage...I am putting seed into dirt (in the basement) this weekend...cabbage love cooler weather! Hope this helps...
