This orchid has not bloomed since I received it from a girl who lived in the condos were we used to live 2 years ago.  I've been neglecting it...and it has survived...lately I have been "tending" to it (keeping it moist, warm and in the sun) and Wall-aaa, it sprouted a bud and now is in bloom with one more bud to go!

Things are bloom'n around here.  Not just the orchid but this human being is coming around too.  Spring is in the air despite it being February.  This weekend I will be planting some cabbage seeds to germinate in the basement.  So have lots of those paper pots to make up.
